Jacob Friend
Jacob Friend is a senior studying computer science at NC State graduating in May. At NC State, he is a part of the sailing team, Sailpack, and frequently competes in regattas with Jacob Usher. Prior to this trip, he's done a few backpacking trips with his friends, but he's new to the biking scene. He is excited for the new challenge and ready to make some fun memories!
Brian Richardson
Brian is a PhD student at UNC Chapel Hill studying biostatistics. In his free time, he likes to hike, rock climb, and try to keep up with the road biking groups in the Carrboro area. He rode across the country with Bike Loud! in 2015 and 2019, and is excited to go for a third trip.
Michael Richardson
Michael is graduating from NC State with a degree in Computer Science. He enjoys leading other students on backpacking and climbing trips to the mountains of North Carolina. He is a regular attendee of Raleigh’s social bike rides, especially the 6am coffee runs. Michael is excited to tackle his biggest adventure yet and looks forward to all the new people he will meet en route.
Jacob Usher
Jacob is a graduate from NC State with a degree in Computer Science. He grew up in Wilmington, spending time on the water sailing and surfing. Outside of school and work, he likes to run, climb, and camp. He can't wait to ride for Bike Loud! and see many beautiful parts of the country.
